Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how Plato Notes Pro subscriptions are cancelled and when a refund is issued. Plato Notes is operated by Retaingrow Technologies LLP.

1. What you are paying for

Plato Notes Pro is a monthly recurring subscription, priced at ₹299 per month. It renews automatically at the end of each billing cycle until you cancel. Payments are processed by Razorpay.

The Free plan is permanently free and requires no payment details.

2. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel Pro at any time from inside the Plato Notes app. You do not need to email us and you do not need to give a reason.

When you cancel:

• Your cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• Your Pro access continues until that date. You keep the full period you have already paid for.
• No further payments are taken. The subscription does not renew.
• When the paid period ends, your account moves to the Free plan. Your notes, recordings and to-dos are not deleted.

3. Refunds

Because access continues for the entire period you have paid for, subscription fees already charged are non-refundable, and part-months are not refunded on a pro-rata basis.

We will issue a refund in the following cases:

• Duplicate charge — you were billed more than once for the same billing cycle.
• Charge after cancellation — you were billed after a cancellation had already taken effect.
• Payment taken but Pro not activated — your payment succeeded but your account was not upgraded, and we are unable to resolve it.
• Extended service failure — a fault on our side prevented you from using Pro for a significant part of a billing cycle.

4. How to request a refund

Email retaingrowtech@gmail.com within 7 days of the charge, including:

• The email address on your Plato Notes account
• The date and amount of the charge
• The Razorpay payment or order ID, if you have it
• A short description of the problem

We will respond within 2 business days.

5. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Razorpay. Once approved, the refund is initiated within 5–7 business days. The time it then takes to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer and is outside our control.

We cannot refund to a different account, card or payment method than the one used for the original payment.

6. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us first. We would rather resolve it directly and quickly than through a chargeback, which takes considerably longer for you.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your payment.
